Taking a tour down memory lane shows our grownth of automation products from VHS to the optical disc era. Initially we provided purely electronic duplication control and automatic QC systems. Since, we have branched out to design and manufacture of automated packaging machines. We arttibute our success to computer design and manufacture of the mechanical, and advanced micro processor control for the servo systems. This yields cost effective high performance flexible products. With the explosion of format sizes, from DS Amaray to Blu-Ray Disc, this built in flexibility ensures equipment does not easily become redundant. Success depends increasingly on meeting the demand of cost effective performance and increased flexibility to keep up with market changes.

Our view of the market indicates a need for not only fully automatic but also semi-automatic packaging equipment. We have thus added our Presto modular line of packaging machines. The Prestoline can start off with only the slip sheet inserter in semi-automatic mode, and can be added onto modularly, to reach full automation.

Super Overwrapper / FilmStar overwrapper / semi-automatic overwrapper.

The overwrapper was the first of our new range of products for optical discs and has a long and successful track record. It constitutes a total new approach to overwrapping by replacing cams, levers and linkages with microprocessor control. This microprocessor approach, in addition to reducing costs, also offers unique features such as full automation and quick size change between various products. We have also branched out to a semi-automatic overwrapper with quick size change covering a wide range of products. This finds great application in the boutique type operation. During manufacture, full use is made of computer controlled machining which reduces costs and provides consistency. The equipment is CE compliant.

Presto and Merlin DVD packaging machine / inserter / collator and security labeler.

Initially, our Merlin did a fine job of an all in one automated DVD packaging machine. With the event of Blu-Ray and other new formats such as DS Amaray, our modular Presto line provides the needed flexability. The Presto slip sheet inserter can operate very effectively in manually fed stand alone mode but can be modularly expanded, step by step, to full automation by adding, one or more of, case opener and presenter, disc placer, booklet placer and case closer stations. A fully automated Presto line can run up to 30 parts per minute and two lines can be combined to produce a cost effective 60 parts per minute "Presto Duo" system. The Presto's flexibility accommodates DVD, Blu Ray, DS and UMD Amaray type cases used for games.

Our equipment is CE compliant, runs on both 115VAC and 220 VAC 50Hz and is running in many countries besides the USA.
